Frequently asked questions
Everything about licensing, installation, detections and staff access.
What is Lunix Shield?
Lunix Shield is an anti-cheat SaaS for FiveM. It combines a Lua resource that runs on your server with a hosted backend, a rule engine and a realtime staff panel.
How does Lunix Shield work?
The resource runs modular detectors. Each detector emits a signal with evidence and a confidence score. The backend rule engine decides whether to log, warn, kick or ban based on your configuration.
How do I install it?
Buy or receive access, sign in with Google, open the Anti-Cheat Panel, download the resource, drop it in your resources folder, set the license key and add 'ensure prime-shield' to server.cfg. Full steps are on the installation page.
Does Lunix Shield support OneSync?
Yes. The resource uses server-side entity and player APIs that work with OneSync Infinity. Entity ownership checks are validated server side wherever the API allows it.
How does licensing work?
Every purchase issues a license key in the PS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format with a server limit and expiry. Licenses are only created or extended by a verified Stripe webhook, never by the browser.
How do I connect my FiveM server?
On first start the resource performs a handshake with your license key. The backend validates the license, registers the server and returns a per-server secret used for every later request.
Can I manage multiple servers?
Yes. Your plan defines a server limit. The panel has a server selector at the top — switching it swaps players, detections, rules, bans and logs.
Can I give staff access?
Yes. Add staff by Gmail (web panel) and Discord ID (in-game NUI panel) and toggle exactly which rooms they can access. The backend enforces the matrix on every request.
Can I create custom roles?
The owner can create, edit, duplicate and delete roles with any combination of permissions. Roles containing protected permissions can only be granted by the owner.
How does Freecam detection work?
The client detector tracks camera/entity divergence, movement patterns and duration, then reports evidence. Server-side position deltas corroborate the signal before the rule engine acts.
How does Trigger Protection work?
You define per-event call rate limits. The resource measures calls per second per player and the backend records blocked triggers and can escalate to warn, kick or ban.
What happens if the backend is temporarily offline?
The resource keeps enforcing its last known configuration and queues telemetry. A grace period prevents short outages from disabling protection; an expired or revoked license stops working once the grace period ends.
How do subscriptions work?
Stripe charges the card on your cycle. On invoice.paid the license expiry is extended; on failure the subscription goes past due and you are notified.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancel in Stripe or ask support. Protection remains active until the end of the paid period, then the license moves to EXPIRED.
What is Lifetime?
A one-time payment for a license that never expires, with a five server limit and continued resource updates.
